Offline RPGs worth your storage space
Offline RPGs are having a quiet renaissance on phones, and I'm all for it. The appeal is simple: you own the experience, it won't shut down when a server does, and it works on a plane.
The standouts share a few traits. They respect your time with generous saves, they don't bury the fun behind energy meters, and their stories actually end. Emberfall Chronicle is a great current example, with turn-based fights that reward planning.
If you're building a travel library, prioritize games with manageable download sizes and clear progression. A 2GB RPG that crashes on old hardware helps nobody.
My tip: start a long RPG a few days before a trip so you're past the tutorial and into the good part when boredom strikes.
